RATING 92 As to be expected, a serious wine; black cherry fruit with no phenolics or oak; a long, clean finish, nigh-on dry. DRINK 2010
RATING 94 This sparkler has the typical Pondalowie look; deep-purplish and youthful. Nose and palate combine regional mint, herb and eucalypt with dense, earthy blackberry fruit at the core. The smooth palate has good harmony between ripe and savoury flavours, sweetness doesn't take over and it finishes long with fine-grained dry tannins. Sealed with a crown seal to eliminate the possibility of cork tainting the wine. A classy sparkling red to enjoy with tea-smoked duck.
